Craftsman Automation launches ₹2,000 crore QIP, sets floor price at ₹8,966

Engineering company Craftsman Automation Ltd on Monday (June 15) said its Fund-Raising Committee has approved the launch of a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) of equity shares for an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹2,000 crore.

The company fixed June 15, 2026, as the ‘relevant date’ for the issue. Based on the pricing formula, the floor price has been set at ₹8,966.13 per equity share. The company may offer a discount of up to 5% on the floor price, as permitted under regulations.

The Fund-Raising Committee met on June 15, 2026 and approved the opening of the issue, along with the Preliminary Placement Document and application form dated the same day.

The approval follows a board resolution dated May 16, 2026, and a special resolution passed by shareholders at the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on June 13, 2026.

The issue will comprise equity shares with a face value of ₹5 each. The issue size will be determined through consultation with the lead manager appointed for the placement. The Preliminary Placement Document will be filed with BSE and NSE on June 15, 2026.
