US President Donald Trump called on nations to form a united front against radical Islam during a White House Hanukkah reception for Jewish Americans.

“All nations must stand together against the evil forces of radical Islamic terrorism, and we’re doing that," Trump said at a White House Hanukkah reception, days after 15 people were shot and killed at a Jewish Hanukkah festival in Sydney, Australia.

“Let me take a moment to send the love and prayers to our entire nation, to the people of Australia, and especially all those affected by the horrific and antisemitic terrorist attack," Trump said in his address.

Sajid Akram and his son Naveed opened fire on a Jewish festival at Sydney’s famed Bondi Beach on Sunday evening.

Australian authorities said the attack was designed to sow panic among the nation’s Jews.
