Following the passing of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, tributes have continued to pour in from across the world. Among those remembering the iconic voice was WWE Superstar and Hollywood actor John Cena, who shared a photograph of the late singer on his official Instagram account as a mark of respect.

Cena chose to honour Asha Bhosle by simply sharing her picture. The gesture drew attention from fans in India and abroad, many of whom appreciated the acknowledgment from the international star.
Actor Priyanka Chopra also reacted to Cena’s post in the comments section, writing “Queen”. Several Indian users responded to the tribute by thanking Cena for remembering one of India’s most celebrated musical figures.
Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12, 2026, in Mumbai at the age of 92. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital a day earlier after suffering from a chest infection and extreme exhaustion. Reports stated that she died due to multi-organ failure.
Her mortal remains were kept at her residence Casa Grande in Lower Parel before the funeral on April 13, which was conducted with full state honours at the Shivaji Park crematorium. The venue holds emotional significance for the family as her sister Lata Mangeshkar was also cremated there.
Several prominent personalities from the film, music and sports fraternity attended the last rites, including Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar, Tabu, Asha Parekh, Riteish Deshmukh and A. R. Rahman, who gathered to pay their final respects.
