Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index traded in a 250-point range, as has been the case over the last few sessions, with the index oscillating between the 20-DMA and the 50-DMA on the downside, near the 25,700 mark.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: 2025 is down to its final few trading sessions. With participation dwindling and volumes dropping, action is likely to remain confined to a narrow range. Monday was no different. However, the bulls would be pleased that despite the gap-down opening, the dip was bought into and the Nifty managed to close above the 26,000 mark, albeit below the flat line.
The index traded in a 250-point range, as has been the case over the last few sessions, with the index oscillating between the 20-DMA and the 50-DMA on the downside, near the 25,700 mark.
What would also please the bulls is the advance-decline being in favour of the gainers. Going into today weekly expiry for the NSE contracts, the 26,000 level remains the key for the Nifty, which continues to find resistance between the 26,050 - 26,100 band. 25,900 - 25,850 may emerge has a support zone for the index.
Keep an eye on the broader markets with beaten down names such as Praj Industries seen some heavy price-volume activity. Can Fin Homes, Zydus Life, Vodafone Idea, HCLTech, are some other stocks to watch for. Today is also the last day to bid for the ₹10,602 crore ICICI Prudential AMC IPO.
